Since 1988, Robeson Community College has offered the two-year Associate in Applied Science advanced level Respiratory Therapy program to eligible candidates who are looking for a new career in the health field. Our program′s mission statement is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a licensed respiratory therapist for successful entry in a diverse and global society into the practice of respiratory therapy.

The graduate of the 5-semester program is awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree, allowing the graduate to sit for the National Registry Examination leading to the credential of Registered Therapist (RRT) and state licensure.
