When a student finishes with this program, there are other things that could benefit them in their careers. Some of the things we suggest if they like the medical field are to go take classes in medical billing, ICD-9 coding, etc. If they are interested in working in a law office, is to do an internship, take continue education classes in deed preparation and contracts. Other things that make a candidate stand out are to be bilingual or to know sign language. We offer both Spanish and sign language here at Robeson Community College. Two important things to know are to be proficient at MS Office and to be able to type with speed and accuracy.
