2. What is the HOBET?
Health Occupations Basic Education Test is a tool used to assess applicants current knowledge base and comprehensive processes. The HOBET score is used in combination with other factors (i.e. coursework) to determine admission. Please review the program requirements page for minimum HOBET scores for admission.

3. Can credits from other institutions be transferred to RCC?

4. Do applicants have to be Nursing Assistant I certified before admission?
Yes. Students are required to be Nursing Assistant I certified prior to admission. Please review the Program Requirements page for further information. If applying and you need Nursing Assistant I, please contact Admissions to find out the course schedule for upcoming opportunities.

6. What requirements are needed for LPN to RN admission?
LPN students are required to have one year of employment and completed the curriculums first year course work. For further information, please review the Program Requirements page.

7. What additional help is given to LPN to RN students to aid in transition?
LPN students are required to attend the week long general ADN orientation program. An additional LPN-to-RN transition orientation is given the following week to help the students transition into the second level courses with ease. The orientation allows the LPN to RN students to familiarize themselves with the clinical sites, faculty, and review any nursing skills prior to clinical.
