About Emergency Medical Science
The Emergency Medical Science curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to enter the workforce as paramedics, paramedics being the highest pre-hospital certification. The program will also provide an Associate Degree for individuals desiring an opportunity for career enhancement.

The curriculum provides the student an opportunity to acquire basic and advanced life support knowledge. This training is acquired by utilizing classroom instruction, practical laboratory sessions, (hands on equipment), hospital clinical experience, and field internships with EMS agencies. When student has successfully completed all required course of study, they are eligible to test both state and National exams.
