Robeson Community College Grant Opportunities
The Robeson County Educational Award Project is a special initiative designed to provide teachers, assistant teachers, directors, assistant directors and family child care providers with monetary awards that are tied to their individual levels of education.
The Professional Development Grant provides assistance to child care providers who work directly with children and their families. Information, referrals, and resources for admission and transfer requirements to institutions of higher learning in the region are provided. Professional Development plans are developed.
The Stability in Child Care Award provides a financial incentive to child care providers in a licensed child care program who qualifies for the Educational Award. This award will be disbursed in June of each year.
The following Early Childhood links will provide you with additional information as it relates to working with children and their families. Additionally, we have an articulation agreement with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke's Birth - Kindergarten Program.
