Adult Basic Education Transition
In support of the mission of Robeson Community College, Adult Basic Education Transitions is a process committed to promoting educational and life skills opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities. Adult Basic Education Transitions offers attainable educational opportunities and potential transition to the Adult High School or High School Equivalency program and workforce preparation activities.
Prerequisites for Admission
- Adults 18 years or older.
- Documentation of an intellectual disability or traumatic brain injury signed by a physician, licensed psychiatrist, or licensed psychologist.
- Completion of the admissions process, which includes CASAS assessment and orientation.
- Score 163 or higher on the CASAS assessment.
